International Haiku Poetry Day

April 17 is International Haiku Day. Haiku are Japanese poems with 17 syllables:  three lines of five syllables, then seven syllables, then five syllables again. In honor of my favorite form of poetry to write, I give you this:

A to Zed Blogging.

April has flown so quickly.

I shall persevere.

Since my clan motto is Sero Sed Serio, Latin for Late, but in earnest, I’ll get to Zed… But in an Earnest and unconventional way! Happy Haiku to all!
